A Wealth of Marketing Experience
My professional career started as a lender at Union Bank where I provided equipment and working capital financing as well as a myriad of other financial services to small and middle-market businesses in the greater Los Angeles area. It was during this experience in working with and helping small business owners to build their businesses that I developed my desire to do more of what they were doing: to build and grow companies.
Now as a Marketing Director at CocoaBella Chocolates, I have the opportunity to help build a small retail business for owners who want to take their company to the next level .
Several of the brands I've managed in the past are food related and I have a passion for sustainable and artisanal food products, so I have a unique combination of food & retail marketing experience combined with a classical marketing training. For the past 8 years, I've created and implemented retail marketing strategies and programs including new product development & promotions, promotional events, website & and advertising development (everything from TV, radio & print to direct mail, brochures & point-of-sale materials). Before that, I spent 6 years in more traditional consumer products marketing at Clorox & Del Monte Foods.
I have an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley and aside from food, my additional passions are music (including playing drums) and the outdoors.
You can view samples of past projects I've worked on to get a picture of past retail marketing programs I've created and implemented.
