INNOVATION

INNOVATION IS FINDING A NEW WAY TO SOLVE A PROBLEM

"THERE’S A WAY TO DO IT BETTER – FIND IT" ~Thomas Edison

Often when people think of innovations, they assume that it's a complicated process that requires lots of people and lots of money.  Well, sure that's how it can work at large companies but if you slow down and take a deep breath and acknowledge that innovation is merely the task of finding a new way to solve a problem, then it will be far easier to create innovative products and services.  If you will also always remember that as a business, you are getting paid by customers to solve their problems, then you will see how innovation is just a fancy word for helping to solve the problems of your customers in new ways.  That's it!  Now it's easy peasy to innovate, isn't it?

Now don't get confused between innovation and differentiation.  Innovation is the PROCESS by which you create meaningful differentiation.
